Carbon Offset Planning and Implementation

  • Support development of land sector/vegetation based carbon farming methods (represented the ILC as a co-funder of methods with DoE and The Nature Conservancy)
  • Lead the development of carbon strategies and policy advice, including submissions on the ERF, safeguard mechanism, carbon project aggregation and various draft methods
  • In-depth experience of the carbon market as a CFI proponent/ERF participant
  • Feasibility, design, implementation, evaluation and communication of carbon projects on Indigenous-held land
  • Innovative, ground breaking work (was responsible for establishing the Fish River Fire Project, the first approved savanna burning project)

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • application of program logic and theory of change
  • Evaluations of public health, environment and Indigenous programs
  • Development of Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and performance indicators
  • Experience in Commonwealth, state, territory and local governments and in the NGO (domestic and international) and academic sectors.
  • Experience in quantitative data collection and analysis, with a particular focus on understanding the more intangible outcomes of programs through the application of techniques such as the Most Significant Change (MSC) technique.
